Dear Friends,

Thanks to all of you who participated in our Healing Event under the direction of Shaman Jerome. Special Thanks to Shaman Jerome; Bill Easley and Alexandra Makris for collecting auction items; those who contributed items, and those who bought them; Robert Zack for handling the horses and providing supper for the workers, and for his and Norm Clappsaddle’s mowing; Cynthia Elliot for treating Sweet Adeline with EFT; Clarridge Discount Septic for donating the portable toilet; Jason Craig and Karen Rose for collecting tickets and managing the parking; Karen Rose Mathews for creating the flyer and making Healing Horses greeting cards; and to all who came to attend from all over including both east and west coasts! Due to your loyal participation, we earned $2,000! A more than wonderful time was had by all and we are looking forward to our Fall Healing Event! Here are excerpts from Shaman Jerome’s Big “Thank You” letter to all of you in which he states, “…This was the planting of the seed of things to come for a long time, and we hope that the next one in September is even bigger and better than this one. Could you not feel the SPIRIT there on the Grounds? We came together as a group searching for the same thing, offers to help find those things, and most importantly as friends. The closing of the event was very GREAT and powerful with everyone shaking hands with wishes of safe journey. Thus my Vision was fulfilled.” (For the complete text of his letter, email us.)

Healing Horse Story of the Month: Here are excerpts from Jeannette Wilson’s gracious thank you letter which you may receive in full by request: …“My 9 month old grandson, Nathan, was diagnosed with hypotonia (very low muscle tone) when he was born. [Last week] Nathan was kicking his legs, but still could not hold his head up or sit up by himself. After his first session with Patches, I noticed that he was holding his head up for long periods of time during the entire four hour open house. His eyes were open so wide and he seemed so alert! After his second session with Sere (and many kisses from her) he actually put his hands on his knees while his mom was holding him, and pushed himself up into a sitting position. Then he lifted his head and watched Sere. I was dumbstruck…thank you all, including the wonderful horses, for helping. [He] was able to support himself with his arms and hold his head up for 3 minutes yesterday. This is a huge milestone for little Nathan. And this just a week after his visit to the horses. It’s such a wonderful thing that you are all doing.”
